This is an editorial visualization, not a substitute dataset. The calculation covers all 26 cantons; the canton and legal-form distributions each independently sum to 1,129 UIDs.

Historical exchange rates for documents and payments in different currencies.
Swiss VAT amounts in foreign currencies must be converted into francs. Article 45 of the VAT Ordinance allows the FTA monthly average or daily selling rate. The chosen method must be kept for at least one tax period.
Navor currently uses daily rates delivered through the federal BAZG service and stores them internally by date. If a document and its bank transaction use different currencies, Navor retrieves the historical rate and calculates the CHF amount used for matching and accounting.

How we prepared the weekly view.
The charts were prepared from official Zefix and Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce publication records. They illustrate the source used by Navor and do not replace the official dataset.

The page shows separate canton and legal-form totals. It does not republish entity profiles or combine the distributions into a company-level dataset.
Interpretation note: a new-registration publication does not necessarily mean that a new commercial company was founded. The total also includes newly registered branches and non-commercial legal forms.
